In most cases, a Top Level Domain will allow persons or organizations from other countries to register under that Top Level Domain for vanity purposes. For instance, an organization whose business involves television may wish to register a domain under the .tv Top Level Domain.
Each Top Level Domain registration authority has a different agreement that users must agree to in order to participate in that authority's Top Level Domain. We have provided the agreements below. Should you choose to register a domain name under any of these Top Level Domains, you must read the agreement for each Top Level Domain that you choose. If your usage of that domain name does not meet the requirements stated in the appropriate agreement(s) below, you will forfeit your domain registration.
Please read the agreement(s) for your chosen Top Level Domain(s) carefully. Some country Top Level Domains specifically require that the registrant have citizenship in the associated country and/or that the registrant has a branch of business in that country as qualifications for domain registration.
If you feel that a domain name has been registered in violation of your Trademark rights, or other rights, you must initiate Domain Name Dispute Resolution. Each Top Level Domain has different Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policies. These Policies can be found as part of the associated Registration Agreement, or they can be found linked from the associated Registration Agreement.
